So the sun finally came out just in time for my birthday, whoop! This year I had more of a birthday weekend. Last Saturday I went hiking with my significant other and parents in the Redwoods and on Sunday had family over for tacos, drinks, and cake. It flew by way too fast, but it was a blast!

This year it really hit me how fast time is flying by. Everyone kept telling me that your 24th is not a big deal in terms of birthdays but,  I completely disagree. Life is short and every birthday should be a big freaking deal. You made it through another year, you changed, you grew, you accomplished shit. This needs to be celebrated with more than just a “happy birthday” and a piece of cake. 

Not to say that birthday wishes, cake and presents aren’t great though, pretty great bonus to making it through the year if you ask me. You’re never too old to get showered with presents guys, come on you earned it! I’m pretty grateful for everything I got this year. My sister got me a Mario controller for my switch, a Bowser amibo to add to my collection and the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild!👍🏻

My mother knows me best. Cats. Cats. Cats. She got me an adorable cat luggage bag, cat socks, and some awesome pieces from Modcloth. Oooohhh and she got me a full length mirror, just what I wanted. Unfortunately, one of the corners was damage and we had to return it so we’re waiting for more to come back in stock .

And my other sister got me this awesome cat cork board and some pins to add to my collection. Now I’ll finally have a place to display them all!

I had a wonderful birthday and can’t wait to enjoy every minute of this year! If your birthday has already passed, I hope it was wonderful! If it’s yet to come, here’s to hoping its spectacular. Ciao!
