Got engaged February 2023💍

We’d been together about 6 years before we got engaged, and it already felt like we had been living like a married couple the whole time. Our engagement story is pretty simple and silly, which is very fitting for us. We were enjoying some noodles together on the couch while discussing buying our first house together. I mentioned how it would be much easier if we shared the same last name before making such a big purchase. He says something along the lines of “You know what? You’re right. Hold on.” He ran upstairs came back with a ring in hand got down on his knee and asked me to marry him just like that. I was in the middle of slurping up some noodles when he asked and we were both wearing our giant blanket hoodies, classy stuff. Sweet and simple.

Our photos are very cat focused and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I wish they were in every photo, but Dexter(the orange man) was the only one being really cooperative that day. Cats going to cat.

As huge Star Trek fans we of course had to get some Star Trek themed photos as well! My uniform was way too small on me, I could barely sit down (hips don’t lie). Unfortunately, I had no time to order it in a different size before the photos so I just had to deal. Being as hippy as I am, I would have much prefered to wear a TNG Skant which is a dress version of the uniform, but I could not find one that looked authentic enough or that wasn’t crazy out of my budget.
