It’s a bit late but here’s a list of a few things that I plan on doing and am looking forward to this year!
Resolutions:
- sew more
- lose 12 lbs – gain muscle
- maintain a vegan diet
- be more eco-friendly and waste-free
- start my own business as a side hustle
- go with the flow and relax!
Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Guys, I couldn’t be more excited that the new Animal Crossing is coming out during my birthday month. There’s only 38 days left until the release day which is just 10 days after my birthday! What better way to spend my 25th birthday than being sucked into an amazing game that brings me back to my childhood. Been waiting for this for so long!
Getting Back into Sewing
I bought myself a new sewing desk and chair and I’m in love with my new setup! It’s easy for me to get discouraged when it comes to sewing (i’m still new to it) so hopefully this super cute space will motivate me to keep at it. My next project is going to be a button up plaid skirt which I might make into a suspender skirt, decisions decisions.

Eco-Friendly Lifestyle
I’ve recently got into swapping out all my plastic single use products for more sustainable ones. One of my new favorite skincare brands is this adorable vegan and eco-friendly company, Meow Meow Tweet. They have some seriously cute packaging. I have their sunscreen, face wash, and deodorant.
Being a Vegan (100% this time)
I’ve been a vegetarian for somewhere around six years. I honestly couldn’t pin point the exact moment I became one, but it’s been a long time. My initial reason for becoming a vegetarian was plain and simple, meat grosses me out. I’ve never understood why people would enjoy eating something that has blood and bones in it, but to each their own. It wasn’t until about one or two years into being a vegetarian that I decided I wanted to be a vegan as well. For a few years now I’ve been struggling to stick to it 100%. The main things that caused me to give up were social pressure and selfishness. It was hard for me to give up something that made up so much of my diet as a picky eater, cheeeeeeeeese. And nothing helps like a family full of meat eaters who don’t agree with your choices and ethical reasons for doing something.
This year I’m done making up excuses. I’m a vegan and I’m sticking to it, for the animals and my health.

Not the prettiest picture, but this is my go to meal. Broccoli, Tofu, and Rice!
