Wildlife Ranch

So, a while ago me and my family went to the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch. It’s basically a drive-thru safari. Sounds awesome right? They give you a bag of feed that you can throw or hand to the animals as you drive through. Apart from the drive-thru, there’s also a walk through area and a petting zoo. And once you’re done with all of that, you can eat at the Safari Camp Grill. I’ve never been to the grill myself, because admissions to get into the ranch are already pretty pricey. It’s per person, not per car. It’s definitely worth it though, this is our second time coming.
While feeding some of the animals is awesome and fun, beware of some.
The ostriches and zebras are not so friendly. With those sharp beaks and
long bendy necks, the ostrich can and will stick his entire neck into
your car. My mom got pecked in the finger. We’ve been here a few times,
and the last time I saw a woman in the car in front us throw her
entire bag of feed out the window because she was terrified of the
ostrich. I’m just as terrified as her, but i cant deny that I laughed. It’s always funnier when it’s not happening to you.
Be sure to roll your windows up when they go by. And if your family’s
anything like mine, make sure your next to the controls for the window,
because some one in your family might think it’s funny to roll down your
window every time the ostrich is near by.
These little goats, as cute as they are, are quite obnoxious and get all up in your
face. They tried to chew on my boots and my scarf, but I suppose that’s my fault for dressing fancy everywhere I go. My niece, being a
tiny thing, was almost knocked over when she went to feed them.
Regardless she had a blast, which is evident from her adorable smile.

The lemurs were my favorite part. I’m pretty sure I took 50+ pictures of them, they were just so darn cute. When we got to them they were all cuddled up in their shelter. Upon seeing us they, one by one, came out and put their arms out. I’m going to pretend that this was their way of welcoming us. They were practically modeling for me. I may have stayed there a little too long because by the time I got over the cute factor, I noticed my family was no where to be seen.
